Girls

We started our Thanksgiving Unit Study. I'm so happy to be back to doing unit studies. The girls are too. We're having fun. I'm seeing more smiles and interest in what they are doing. Unit studies are definitely for us and we will stick with them.

My oldest daughter is going to be 16 at the end of the month. Wow! Where did the time go? It seem like it was just yesterday that she turned herself all the way around in womb into the breach position. I remember that night...my husband and I laying on the couch watching TV, interrupted by the gymnastics going on in my belly. It was a bizarre sight! Now she is learning how to drive, she's an extraordinary helper, she has an extensive vocabulary, she's down to earth, loving, giving. She's all the things I imagined she would be as held her for the first time and gazed upon her precious face. Her eyes were already opened, big, round and beautiful. She is an amazing young lady. She amazes me more every day. I know I'll spend the days until her birthday reflecting on all the joy she has brought into my life. It's hard to believe how quickly that time went. I'm truly blessed beyond measure.
